Man Shyt was created by Kentucky native Marcus "Tank" Tanksley I.  After researching grooming products on the market, he found that many of the companies use ingredients that are either are harmful or are not helpful with hair and skin maintenance.  In an effort to minimize the use of chemicals and toxins, Marcus began making his own grooming products to ensure he was only using 100% natural ingredients packed with proteins and nourishments.  Once he perfected his beard butter he decided to share it with his family and close friends.  Seeing a gap in the market place in natural grooming products for men, Marcus launched Man Shyt in 2019.
